There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves

I absolutely love the "There Was An Old Lady Who Swallowed..." Books. I found this cute idea of a sequencing activity from Mrs. Williamson at Welcome to Room 36! I added sticky notes for the kids to draw the pictures on and they loved it! They were all begging to come up. I made the background separate from the sequencing words, so I can use it again with the other stories.

  1. Wow, I love I just love this poem too. And the idea to put another words in the end is juts brilliant. Since you can put any word in the end of it you can teach the kids some new words and they will be more educated or they can just have some fun with each other. These games and activities can motivate children into composing their own verses using their own ideas therefore they will feel like the teachers themselves which is a good start for such young learners. Soon enough they will feel like finding where to buy custom college paper and will use every tool they have and every technique they have learned from their talented teacher.
