We did spring sentence writing at our writing station
The students pull a card and match the card to the picture on the record sheet and write a sentence. They love when I put these at the writing station! This pack even includes a story paper for the kiddos to pull a card and write a story about their card!

It is totally a great assignment and what is more important students get to practice their writing which they will definitely need later. I know that children have to writ lots of papers when they are in college and of course grammar and spelling have to be close to perfect.
