Question Writing!

We have been working on question writing in our classroom, and my kiddos have done a super job! I wanted to take it to the next level and try something different. Little did I know this was going to be a HUGE HIT in our classroom! They had so much fun with this! I was so impressed with the questions they wrote AND the answers! Some of them were too cute and some were pretty clever as well!

My kids begged me to do this again, so the next day we did magazine cut outs! Check out these awesome pictures!

Chinese New Year

This week starts a long list of fun activities and events in our classroom! We start with MLK celebration tomorrow, Chinese New Year, 100th Day of School, Valentine's Day, Dr. Seuss' Birthday and MORE!! Happy day after Christmas! I hope that everyone got what they wanted and are finally relaxing!! (Which is something I should probably do too!) But, I've officially decided that this is the time catch up on EVERYTHING that is on my to-do list!

Which means, time to prepare for all of our fun winter stuff!!

We then broke up into two groups and made up our stories and then shared them. They were amazed at how different a story is with just a few different words!!
